Liberty Bell - Symbol of America - Ron Paul - Philly - Treg

We need Ron Paul.
Let's use what is going on with our Liberty Bell in the past few years. Cameras all over the place, it is enclosed behind a prison of glass and brick, and airport security to get even close to it. Don't touch it though, you may be a terrorist. All in the name of security. The bell was never meant to be enclosed like it is now.

What is our country willing to sacrifice in liberty in exchange for a false sense of security? I say NONE!

We Need Ron Paul

On November 10th, 2007 there will be a Ron Paul rally in front of Independence Mall!

An estimated 5,000 will attend, will you be there?

A few precautionary notes:

I am not promoting anyone to touch the bell, don't, you may be put under arrest and I may be considered a terrorist mastermind or enemy combatant. I haven't been to Independence mall for a few years so things may be different since I was there. Philly has all this tight security and monitoring, however, it has one of the highest crime rates in the nation. Again, don't touch the bell.

I love this video. Very clever how you used the Liberty Bell to make a point. Plus, it's in Philadelphia, so that's nice... :) The way you did that gives this video a lasting quality as a point of reference. It will be worth looking back on months or years from now. I favorited it! When I saw the Liberty Bell just before the Bicentennial, they wouldn't let you touch it, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't behind glass. How long until they replace it with a cardboard cut out?

It's in a concrete building with a glass wall looking out to independence mall last time I saw it. I think they are actually going to move it a little further away from Independence Mall into some museum building, where I think they may even charge people to see it! Unless we get Ron Paul in office prepare for the symbolism to get worse, not better.

You know I can't wait until we head into Philly on Nov. 10th, I've talked to Ben Franklin (tour guide actor) before there. He's a very nice guy, talked to him in a post office line. I'm hoping that old man will show up to the rally wearing a Ron Paul rEVOLution shirt :) I think Franklin would endorse Ron Paul

The Bell Spent more time in TEXAS than any other State. It would have spend more time in TEXAS even if it were traveling non stop at 70 miles per hour!!

Interesting clip. Personally I was trying to find the names for some march tunes, though. Perhaps someone could help me out with this one? I was also trying to find out what that tune is they play sometimes when the president of the US appears to give a speech.
