- The purpose of the band is to recall the original atmosphere of the classic jazz of the twenties and early thirties.
The repertory of the "M.H.J.O." contains tunes of Duke Ellington, Fletcher Henderson's Orchestra, MCKinney's Cotton Pickers and so on.
MUSICIANS: CLAUDIO PERELLI sax, clarinet, trumpet, PAOLO GAIOTTI cornet, washboard, vocal, ALBERTO SCHINELLI sax, clarinet, ANDRES VILLANI sax, clarinet, CARLO MARCHESI piano, vocal, NANNA FREDDI banjo, PEP INZAGHI tuba, ACHILLE LEGNAZZI drums.
THE MHJO PARTECIPATED IN THE MOST IMPORTANT FESTIVALS AS: Sacramento, U.S.A. Jazzjubilee 2001,2002, Ascona, CH jazzfest. 2000/2001/2002/2003,Whitley Bay UK jazzfest 2005, Jazz fest. Tarragona, ESP. 2006 Jazz Festival Silkeborg DK 2007....
