@Archeralan1 That's not actually true though. They existed happily, but they weren't peaceful. They were killing each other!!!

So I just watched this movie, and it was pretty much one of the most amazing and honest movies I've ever seen. Warwick is an amazing director, and I wish people would watch more of his movies than half of the shitty movies we have in Hollywood. Dang, the kids in this movie were just first timers, and yet he managed to capture piercing emotions and gold out of them!

@BobThaHumanBeing the story is making a point of how the Biblical stories engrained into Australian Indigenous culture by colonial missionaries have made no positive difference in the lives of these young Aboriginals apart from the names given to them. The stories reveals how White Australians to this day feel they know what is best for this culture who lasted peacefully tens of thousands of years before the English had even begun toying with the concept of 'Capitalism'.
