Lol, we did a gig like this in the mid 80's at an airport on Van Isl., it frikken rained, everything shorted out, the stage sucked, the sound booth fell on a buddy, we played our guts out and had a muddy blast despite the not-so-awesome turn-out. Best moment, um, watching a drunk roll his car at the end of the runway while we mangled a Stone's song :D
Not even a 'mini-Woodstock' but we all had fun anyhow :)
