Would a tree grow as tall if the gravity pull was increased? Even if an observer was as far away from a black hole as possible, would that stop matter from falling into it all the time? Pardon my ignorance, I´m just asking.

Time is not a variable over gravity, mass and distance is. Time /space provides the curvature to allow for predictable theoretical results.

Actually, Einstein teaches us that gravity is the force of mass moving through time. Which is why equations regarding the two greatly change/interact when past the event horizon of a black hole. The gravity is extreme and therefore time (to a distant observer moves slower closer to the horizon. An object moving towards a black hole will slow down as it approaches it, taking an infinite amount of time to reach it.

Uhhm... When did speculation about a myth become "evidence"?
