  • For all of those people that compare Fidel To Washington or a patriarch like him I gone say something. If George Washington Would state that He have to be president for life, and after that his brother gone to take over. This country, USA, would be like Afganistan now

  • That doesn't happen all the time. Once in like what, 50 years? and the results for that time were VERY close so it could be said that it did represent the people.

    There wasn't a CLEAR winner.

you cant name something that happens ONCE and it doesnt happen all the time.

At least our presidents dont stay in office for more than 8 years, theres a limit. Not like Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea, China, Russia, Burma, etc.

  • and that's why the electoral college chose G.Bush during his second mandate because it reflected that the people voted for him?

    Right on, good democracy

  • yes, the electoral college chooses, but the electoral college is made so that each state has a vote in conjunction with its population. The electoral college was made to depict the choice of the people more accurately.

You're an idiot, and the fact that you don't know this makes YOU dumb, not me.

  • America are free to vote, they have the freedom to go to an election but they don't have the freedom to chose who their president are.

The Electoral college makes the choice. So it is true that it's the guy who counts the vote that chooses the president, not the dumb citizen who thinks that because he voted, he has freedom.
