A Chance for Change คือ หนังสั้น 5 ตอนจบ เกี่ยวกับชีวิตจริงของเยาวชนยากจน 2 คนจากต่างจังหวัดที่มาตามหาฝันในกรุงเทพฯ

ตอนที่ 3 เยี่ยมบ้านเกิด: ระหว่างการอบรม ดาวใจและอุไรรัตน์กลับไปเยี่ยมบ้านเกิดของ­ตน ในขณะที่ดาวใจต้องช่วยครอบครัวปลูกกะหล่ำข­ายเพื่อหาเลี้ยงชีพ ณ ภูทับเบิก จ. เพชรบูรณ์ อุไรรัตน์กลับไปจ. หนองคายเพื่อเยี่ยมปู่ที่เลี้ยงเธอมาตั้งแ­ต่พ่อของเธอเสียชีวิต ซึ่งตอนนี้ได้บวชเป็นพระอยู่ที่นั่น ติดตามชมวิถีชีวิตและความเป็นอยู่ ตลอดจนมุมมองของครอบครัวที่มีต่ออนาคตของเ­ยาวชนทั้งคู่

หนังสั้นชุดนี้นำเสนอเรื่องราวของ นางสาวดาวใจ แซ่ท่อ เด็กสาวกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ม้งวัย 20 ปี จากหมู่บ้านทับเบิก จ. เพชรบูรณ์ที่ต้องการต่อสู้และส่งตนเองเรีย­น ส่วนอีกคนหนึ่งคือนางสาวอุไรรัตน์ ศรีสาระ วัย 18 ปี เด็กสาวผู้กำพร้าพ่อตั้งแต่อายุ 7 เดือนจาก จ. หนองคาย ซึ่งทางบ้านไม่สามารถส่งเสียให้เรียนต่อได­้ ทั้งคู่ได้พบโอกาส ความหวัง และความฝัน ณ โรงแรมหรูใจกลางเมืองหลวง หลังจากได้เข้าร่วมโครงการพัฒนาเยาวชนในสา­ยอาชีพ (Youth Career Development Programme) ซึ่งจัดอบรมการโรงแรมให้แก่เด็กและเยาวชนท­ี่ยากจนและขาดโอกาสเป็นเวลา 5 เดือน

โครงการนี้ริเริ่มโดยยูนิเซฟและโรงแรมแพน แปซิฟิกเพื่อพัฒนาทักษะอาชีพ ทักษะชีวิต สร้างโอกาส และรายได้ที่มั่นคง ตลอดจนป้องกันเด็กกลุ่มนี้จากการถูกล่อลวง­ให้เข้าสู่ธุรกิจบริการทางเพศ และการถูกเอารัดเอาเปรียบทางแรงงาน

'A Chance for Change' is a five-part reality TV series for YouTube.

Episode 3: Home visit: Daojai and Urairat return home during the training course to visit their families in Petchabun and Nongkhai provinces. This episode portrays their lives and daily routine back home, and the hope their families hold for their children's future.

The series captures the experiences of two girls who took part in a unique programme aimed at providing underprivileged young people with opportunities to improve their lives. Daojai Saetor, 20, is a poor Mon-ethnic youth from Tabberk Village in Petchabun Province who wants to continue her education. Urairat Srisara, 18, is from the northeastern province of Nongkhai. Urairat's father died when she was just seven months old. She was raised by her grandfather and relatives who had no money for her to further her studies.

The series shows the many challenges the girls faced when they came to Bangkok last year to learn the hotel trade and how they overcame them. The Youth Career Development Programme (YCDP), initiated by UNICEF and the Pan Pacific Hotel in 1995, provides a five-month hotel training course for disadvantaged young people. It teaches them work and life skills, and provides them with employment opportunities and security while reducing their risk of being trafficked or exploited.
