ATWT 9-4: Nuke and Brian go mushroom hunting; Noah VERY CUTE

Luke looks great but continues being an immature jerk toward Brian. Pretty cute though. In a Q&A, Van said that he was sick of Luke always being a good guy. This semi-evil Luke must be a lot of fun for him. Van does it very well.

0:00 - The description states, "Brian makes a good impression on Luke" I don't see it in this episode. In fact, Luke's last line insults Brian, calling him Mr. Mushroom
0:05 - Brian: "set things up" Wow, he's quite a homemaker (or should that be homomaker? ☺). Yep, Brian must be gay! Brian is funny, witty, handsome, intelligent, sensitive, considerate and has no ego. What is there not to like??? Is Luke secretly in love with him??? :) Remember how rude Luke was toward Noah when they first met? It turned out that Luke had a crush that he wouldn't admit. 0:11 - Lukr: "Sleepy and Grumpy were working overtime" I'm not sure if Luke was referring to Brian only, or Brian and Lucinda. Either way, these childish insults show what a jerk he is. Many of you defend Luke for looking after Lucinda. How is calling Brian names helping? And Luke is wrong. Brian has alwaysbeen in a good mood. It's Luke who is Grumpy. For those who don't know, Sleep and Grumpy are two dwarfs in the fairy tale, Snow White.
0:19 - Luke: "nice touch!" More insults showing Luke's unfounded suspicions. Poor Noah has to listen to all this. Basically, Brin can't win. If he does bad things, he's a villain. If he does good things, Luke thinks he's tricking them
0:46 - Brian: "It's the shirt" Hehe, Brian tells a joke. Love him
0:57 - "a little in your face" Well, Nuke's hugs and kises were also in Brian's face. As long as the actions are sincere (and not done just to annoy people) and not too showy, displaying affection among friends/family is fine
1:25 - Luke: "I like the way you think" Luke is very lucky to have a rational Noah with him
1:28 - "I like the way you do a lot of things" Look at the dreamy eyes on Noah as he rests his arm on Luke. *sigh*
1:49 - Brian: "to the men's tent" Either Brian is gay or he's a gentleman! :) Horny Lucinda is so disappointed
2:02 - Okay, Noah's cutest moment is here. Watch his face after tossing the pillow at Luke. Plus, his bare legs are spread out... heh Again, cute little gestures like these are usually not written in the script, and are improvised on the spot
2:35 - Brian: "a lady needs her privacy" Well Brian, then leave these two ladies alone. :)
2:41 - "I don't snore" Noah looks really disappointed while Luke has a really goofy smile and nods (???)
2:46 - "no problem at all" Watch Luke make a sucking motion with his lips. Oh yeah, the boy is horny!
2:55 - watch the cute way Noah tosses his mushroom in the bag (he even says "beep"). Kinda gay too! :) Noah/Jake is adorable
2:57 - Luke: "Teacher's pet!" Grouchy Luke accuses Noah of trying gain Brian's favor. That's illogical and insulting so Noah should slap Luke a few times, and maybe pull his pants down for a good spanking. For those who don't know, a "teacher's pet" is a a teacher's favorite student, sometimes becaus the student blindly does everything the teacher wants
3:04 - Brian: I'll leave you to your hunting" Uh-oh - what is Brian plotting? Why does he want to be alone??? Reminds us of Win, doesn't it? I'm VERY surprised Lukr didnt say anything
3:29 - Noah: "you guys are bumming me" Noah finally tells them what losers they are! He looks especially cute at 3:47, defending Brian ("a few damn mushrooms"). Noah never had a loving father so Brian may be a substitute
4:53 - Brian set the table beautifully and now he's doing Lucinda's hair. Brian is GAY GAY GAY! :)
5:15 - Cinema verité is a style where it looks as though you're recording real life, i.e. Blair Witch Project
5:19 - "shoot in Rome" Uh-oh, does this mean that Noah/Jake is leaving Oakdale temporarily or permanently? Remember, Jake has no contract so he could be gone at any time
6:19 - "mushrooms come out" Look at poor Noah's face. haha
6:23 - Brian: "you two COMING?" Well, they would be if Brian wouldn't constantly interrupt! To younger viewers, sorry for the sex joke but I couldn't resist
6:35 - Luke: "Magical Mr Mushroom" Luke couldn't resist one last insult at Brian. See my comment at 0:00. FYI, "Magical Mr. Mushroom" is the pet name my girlfriend gave my you-know-what. hehe

guys!you'll never believe what i just read! i just went on a blog that said kevin,luke's first crush is coming back as well reg the week of oct 13th. i think its true because the were other confirmed returns like mike leaving and dusty returning on there. does anyonelse know anything???

now that we're all friends again. lets discuss future nuke plots. what do you guys think about a plot twist where reg addington turned out to be brian's estranged son? reg channged his last name to his mother's maiden name cuz he stand his father and bria having warned luke about being so "open" cuz he saw how reg was treated badly. what do you guys thinks? wouldnt that lead to a cool triangle?

That's a great twist. What caused the estrangement? Brian's homophobia? Or could it be that Brian is gay, and divorced from his mom when Reg was an infant? And his crush on Lucinda is a cover, because, as he said, philanthropy is conservative?

With Noah in Italy, a lot can happen to Luke. Van himself has said that he wanted Kevin to return "to stir things up."

I'm a gay fundraiser and have worked for gay, AIDS and other non-profit groups and I wouldn't act that way. Period.

1) Brian's advice was sound for a new group trying to make its mark; esp a children's group in a homophobic world competing for money

2) Brian's remark had nothing to do with the relationship with Lucinda; Luke illogically combined the two

3) Public outbursts are destructive
