Ableton also showing the names of slices in midi edit window - very usefull feture, why Pro Tools can't have it???

Its all nice but there is ONE BIG MINUS!!! .. if you really working with a lot of samples ..

lets say you chopping loops n you want to program your music/beat in midi edit window with a pencil tool - YOU GONNA BE LOST!!!

It would be just great if there would be some switch so I could label my slices on piano keys on left - so instead keys I would see my slice names!

With any sampler even freeone I could do some sequencing..

Pro Tools is great but FL Studio = 100 times better in this subject!

I HAVE A ROLAND JUNO DI AND AKAI PROFESSIONAL XR 20. IM USING PROTOOLS LE 8 WITH AVID M BOX MINI. MY M BOX DOES NOT HAVE MIDI INPUTS SO I HAVE MIDI TO USB STRAIGHT TO MY MAC. THE PROBLEM IS, HOW CAN I USE THE INSTRUMENTS INSIDE MY PIANO AND AKAI. AND WHAT TRACKS DO I USE TO RECORD THEM?

DOes anybody knwo how to fix a problem with the drums on Midi, where the bass drum like Cuts off the Crash when play at the same time? besides layering like midi tracks is there a option where i can fix it. it happens on my Battery 3 and Xpandx and im using pro tools 8 m audio

URGHHH ii have a nice beat set in boom and saved but ive been trying to make it record the on track for ever i dont know how

Otherwise my pro tools 8 and pro tools 7.4 work fine. I have them on two different macs. Only one digi003 interface.

So to switch back to the other mac to run PT7 is a pain.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the fact that the older sessions were recorded on a mac with Tiger and the new one of course has Leopard. Any one why this wouldn't work?
