Warhammer 40K Space Marines are NOT cannon fodder like other so-called "space marines".
Someone got their marines mixed up.

@Rubentje7 The sad thing is that this scene is the highlight of the movie.

@Oddball9691 I've been playing since '96 and I saw no issues with the background material, remember that all of GWs IPs run off of Rule of Cool. As far as the small number of Ultras taking on a horde of CSM, remember that (spoiler alert) the Fists were infiltrated by a daemon making it easy to see why they got slaughtered. GW are so protective about their IP after the early failures of their games and films that its shocking that they decided to make this at all, and to the quality that it is.

just be happy they made a wh 40k movie

@Oddball9691 I've played and been really into the lore and fluff for about 5 or 6 years now. I never once stated that it wasn't flawed, or was a fluff disaster. I was just saying that I'm tired of everybody whining like their opinion matters (mine doesn't much either). I had no flawed argument stated within my comment, since it was a statement, nothing arguable. I personally believed it had the feel of the universe in it, even if it is quite biased towards the Ultramarine company.

@MrGodzilla198 Khorne Berzerkers vs Necrons would be funny.
Necrons don't bleed.
I think on the table, if a CSM player is playing against a 'cron player, the CSM player's 'zerkers should be forced to have a variant of the Blood Angel's Death Company special rule Black Rage, but instead of attacking the enemy, they have to attack the nearest "friendly" unit.
'Cause 'crons don't have blood... other CSMs do...

@xxfallout1 The game isn't a video game (Though, there are many video game versions), it's a tabletop wargame, each side has an army of miniatures. Each player takes it in turns, using the rules to try and beat the other player. Things like shooting and close combat are all worked out with dice rolls.
It's kinda like a cross between Chess and D&D.

@JayDS1990 I play Tyranids and Necrons...

@SiKlunatic Got a question have you ever played or even heard of 40'k then you would know that this movie is a fluff disaster also 5 or 6 ultramrines manage to defeat the chaos where hundreds of imperial fists couldn't. Games Workshop would have backed anything that could get them more money. I have to admit your right about one thing the voice acting was good and the visuals were ok. Don't get me wrong but your arguments are flawed.

I'm tired of looking at every video related to a movie or video game and seeing the comments are just a lot of butt-hurt messages about how they suck by so-called "fanboys." This movie was decent. I think so, GW thought so, Dan Abnett thinks so. True, they could've hired some lesser known voice actors to save money for visuals, but I believe this has the feel of the warhammer universe in it. So quit your whining and go buy yourselves a nice can of Man the Fuck Up.
this was the worst movie I've ever seen. There were so many things that just didnt work fluff wise.... incredibly frustrating...
