Ode to a Roadie!
-
I was at this concert.. many technical difficulties, and windy and cold.. not singin' weather..
there is beauty in seeing the songwriter sing his own composition.. and beauty in seeing the reaction of his audience.
He ( and Frankie) wrote it.. let everyone perform it in any key!
As far as Jim's wardrobe goes.. he's a free spirit.. always had been ( and I've known him since 1973.. no reason to criticize him for doing things his own way, he's earned it!

this song is very difficult to sing..if you want, try it until your vocal chords cruuuuccccckkkk
-
Recorded live... can you imagine recorded in a studio. Jim is fantastic, but he always was....
-
He doens't do too bad a job considering the song is not really in his range. You listen to anything he leads on Ides of March songs, and he's awesome. "Lead Me Home Gently" is incredible, and ALL should hear it.

Man....Toby fixed things so fast it was like a blur. Jim Peterik is a very very talented musician.. Seems like a nice guy too!
-
The genius behind the music I will always be a fan of. And BTW He pulled this off outside the minor technical difficulties
-
Jimi Jamison made magic with this song, but of course the mind behind this song is Mr. Peterik, and it's a honor to listen him, singing his own composition, Arnel is a excelent singer, but he can't be compared with Jim peterik, because Peterik is a king of the AOR, and Pineda is just a good singer.
-
well done Jim P....
-
I know that he is the composer of this song but I still believe that arnel is a better singer sorry for dissapointing you man
