cagiva owned ducati and also mv agusta, now they are beeing bought byharley. timburini designed the cagiva mito in early `90 s and also the 916 ducati, that s why they look the same, basically the cagiva is the ducati s little brother, same design, same designer, same company.

cagiva /ducati is by far the best looking out there, no japonese or other kind of moto will have the beauty of an italian bike.

@ybrrider 2 strokes are much much faster if both are derestricted. A derestricted 4 stroke 124 might just manage 80mph whereas an unrestricted 2 stroke will manage an easy 110mph.

The designer of mv agusta is Massimo TAmburini and the mv agusta buy the cagiva.

Ducati isn't owned by any manufacturer.

Belle veramente tutte e due le moto, anche se i rilevamenti effettivi sono leggermente diversi da quelli che avete effettuato voi con la vostra strumentazione, in quanto la cagiva mito sp 525 raggiunge i 116 km\h in versione originale (depo 15 cv), mentre la yamaha yzf r raggiunge i 99,1 km\h. Ovviamente la velocità segnata alla strumentazione è di molti km\h in più rispetto a quella effettiva..lo scarto dei contakm è a volte superiore al 12-13 %! ;)
