A music video/highlights reel tribute to the lovely and lighthearted performer Maria Kanellis, who has a most colorful resume of credits. Her most recent is as host of the "B-Movie Mayhem" series of DVD releases from Code Red, some teaser footage of which is featured in this reel.
I owe a great deal of gratitude and debt to YouTube artist wwestevo07, who filmed himself drawing the Maria artwork that fills the bridge in this video. It is a good rendering and I wanted to link this video as a response to his, so be sure to watch his original and tell him I sent you. It's the least I can do for repurposing his material.
The song is by Mike Viola, founder of the power pop outfit Candy Butchers, and co-writer/performer of "That Thing You Do" from the movie of the same name, as well as other songs written for films like WALK HARD and GET HIM TO THE GREEK. This particular song is from his 2007 self-released album LURCH.
