In the interview given to the Italian journalist, CDR Rutledge stated that in addition to the cigar-shaped craft, he and Leonov also entered a triangular-shaped craft.

By closely examining the approximately 50 or so still images of the cigar-shaped craft readily downloadable from the Lunar and Planetary Institute's website, it is clear that there is a triangular-shaped object situated about 400-500 meters off the starboard bow of the cigar-shaped craft. From the images, the triangular-shaped craft is about 750 meters wide.

Initially, finding the triangular-shaped craft in the still images, but not in the LM-15 flyover-before-landing video, presented a problem, because the absence of the triangular craft from the video would lend credence to the assertion that the flyover video was fake.

But after close examination, SpaceHeroes.org is pleased to report that the triangular craft is present in the video. This reality and the mode in which it cropped up would be extremely difficult to fake, making the major portion of the flyover video most likely authentic.

parts of the film,this is why you see the same area they are walking,but calling it a different hill,it would be like watching a football game from last week,knowing when the QB is going to score,and talking to him in real time,saying things like..hey go hug your player,as he hugs his player,the QB says in real time,hey great catch..how would you know he wasn't really saying it at that moment,when actually he's sitting home talking,watching a rerun of the game..this is how they pulled it off.
