From the demonstration Evopod's tenth scale grid connection in March 2011.

This footage shows an inverter with a flashing light. Said inverter is connected by cable to the tenth scale Evopod tidal turbine installed in Strangford Lough, and the as electricity being generated by the device as it is fed into the mains switchboard at Queen's University's Marine Laboratory - the light flashes.

This landmark technological achievement, whilst only at tenth scale is a sign of things to come. Lessons learnt here will be used on the 5th scale 35kW Evopod that is destined for Scottish Waters is late 2011.
