There's not a single full version of the single version of Sadistic Desire on the 'tube.
This is definitely my favourite version of the song. Although I love the scream and the loud bell hit of the original, the overall tone of the guitars and tightness of this really show off X's incredible level of skill.

This is from the Silent Jealousy Single released in 1991.
Bloody hell, Silent Jealousy AND this beauty on one CD? That's one bloody fine CD.

Also - please notice the bass guitar natural harmonic during the solo!!!

Thank you for your message and kind comment.

Luckily, having some kind of education in a real country, I am fully aware of where Poland is in our world, and some of the historical significance it holds. At my current office, I even have a couple of Polish friends :)

    I will stay heavy, sir.

    You are X.

  • The sound of the drums, the skills & strenght of Yoshiki is one of the best things of X, for me Yoshiki is the best drummer of Japan and one of the best composers, well i think this: X is better than all japanese bands.

Me too, personally. However, the original does have a certain RAW feel to it, like before they become X-Japan.

Recently, I've found I'm listening to a lot of their really old stuff. Songs like Feel Me Tonight and Time Trip Loving are bloody incredible. Check 'em out!

  • @Karmoon7 I think this version sounds better than the old one

  • @asterixguy

    Thanks to you.

If I remember, I should probably update the description with that info.

I may forget about this entirely and play video games until my eyes bleed, however.
