Song for Jemaine (Original)

*DISCLAIMER! Since some people can't seem to get it: This is a joke. I am not stalking Mr. Clement. I am a fan, but that is all. I wrote this entire song AFTER I went to see them perform, and I actually only waited about 10 minutes after the show before they left and I went on my way. I didn't hang around for hours after they had gone. I was disappointed, but in no way mad at either of them. I assumed the ridiculousness of the situation/song would make it clear that it is NOT REAL. Thank you.*

This started as a love song for Jemaine Clement of Flight of the Conchords, but turned into a song about how I don't like him or his band anymore because they didn't do a meet-n-greet after the show I went to.

EDIT: I recently had a dream about Jemaine that pretty much made up for everything, so we're cool now. Also, I recorded the song and it can be found on my MySpace (http://www.myspace.com/paisleymacleod )...which I almost forgot I had. Who uses MySpace anymore? Struggling musicians, that's who.

I hope you don't continue to hate the Flight of the Conchords. I'm sure there was something that had them not go out back that night, because when I met them they were incredibly humble and genuine people. I hope you get another chance to meet them in the future because it's obvious you're more than just a fan. Fantastic lyrics by the way. Very VERY inventive. Again, I hope one day you love them again and don't just think of them as "Mutha' Uckas"

I've favorited you, so I don't know if it counts when I watch from my channel, I just want you to know that your song is everything I want to express, too! You've really struck a universal chord . . .
