In post script, the Tree Boa is sometimes calles (Sanzinia madagascariensis )
and experts go back and forwards with its latin name ;)

THEY ARE NOT THE SAME!
Sorry guys but I hate it when people give out misinformation.
Dumerils and Madagascan ground boas are not the same and have different husbandry requirements so please research properly what snake you actully have.
Dumerils come from the Spinny Desert and its a very arid place like New Mexico.
The true ground boas come from the northern forest regions and have more humidity requirements!

Please guys lets get it right!
Firstly use the Latin names thats what there for, and its not using them that leads to all this confusion out there, so here goes:
Madagasca as three indiginous snakes.
1 Dumeril Boa (Acrantophis Dumerili)
2 Madagascan Ground Boa (Boa madagascariensis)
3 Madagascan Tree Boa (Boa manditra)
All are from Madagasca ORIGINALY, now can only be found outside of Madagascan due to CITES international law.
First 2 are Ground boas but different last is obvious.

nah 150 isnt really that outrageous i was very lucky and also purchased 2 at the same time, they were a 100 each....i just haggle a lot...but i would recommend buying from a breeder if the pet shop animals arent looking that good dumerils are thick snakes.,
