Not too bad, considering it was a newscast, but I would have expected much better of CNN. Marci and Monica were fine, but Ms. Zahn is considerably less than knowledgeable about transition and used a script full of old time, totally innacurate cliches, especially about Monica and Trinidad. Transition does not happen at SRS, nor does one "become a woman" then. I'd bet she used "sex change" at least 100 times. - Diane

I could not agree more. I was laying in a motel room in Trinidad when I watched this air. I could not be more frosted most of the errors, like a "Transgered Man". I was not consulted nor, obviously, was Marcie on the comentary text.

I had talked to the reporter that was seen with Marci. I did not know she was a reporter until later. The reporter was amazed that I was up and walking at all. I was two days post op when you had GRS and next door to you in room 115 Monica. You did stop by briefly and say hellow to me before I left the hospital By the way Happy Birthday a couple of weeks late. I was in the air literally over Seattle when this video aired. I just found this over the July 4th weekend.

Too bad Paula Zahn got the gender discriptors wrong at the beginning of the segment, I guess it just shows how little understanding of the issue there really is in this country at this time. Other than that, it was a very good segment.
