Serge makes progress, Day 11. Severely starved percheron is recovering. Crosswinds Equine Rescue

Today, May 1, 11, was our second 'measuring session' for Serge. We will try to do so each week, updating the wire tracing of his body shape and keeping a physical record of it on our wall. We were astounded at how much he had already improved!!

Serge was extremely emaciated when he arrived -- body condition score 1.0 per our vet. He had no body fat discernable anywhere on his body. Now, at day 11, we're able to record certain areas of improvement.
