The fact that it is a large metro. area relatively isolated from other large metro. areas gives it the opportunity to develop speech patterns that are unique. You don't sound stupid. I don't want everybody to sound the same. It is all cool.

Haha! I always crack up when I see this. I grew up in Taos. Recently someone teased me be caused I said "aig" for "egg". My husband also gives me a hard time when I call my family back home....he says I say "Eeeeeeee nooooooo...realllyyyyyy" haha Many others not shown on the vid.
