President Obama has taken a big step toward getting federal funding for embryonic stem cell research. He signed an executive order lifting the research limitations. Joel Brown Reports.
Martin Luther King was a great American. He was also a Baptist minister. 94 % of baptist ministers are AGAINST human embryonic stem cell research. He'd probably be against it.
"Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or in the darkness of destructive selfishness"
Martin Luther King, Jr.
hESC research is destructive and selfish. To forcibly divide and develop a human in separate dishes for the sake of treating living portions of said human individual as a commodity is unethical at best, and is in fact a cost-prohibitive form of human cannibalism.
Clap for your president. He's just signed an executive order for your tax dollars for corporate ownership of human beings, a violation of the 13th amendment of the constitution of the United States of America.
Amen! Why is it that abortions are totally legal, and people are in an uproar about lifesaving technology? And as for those who complain about tax dollars (freakin' condervatives) what the hell do you think the war costs? I'm not even an American, but I do feel the effects of this research from where I am. I support stem cell research and can't wait for it to start saving lives. Good points Headbanger!
So when I oppose human cannibalism, I'm opposed to cures? I'm categorized as opposed for ideological reasons?
So when Obama basically re-writes biological textbooks, re-defining the life cycle of a human being for political gain, he's not being ideological? Hmm.
For once, at least our tax dollars are going towards something meaningful. The people that are against stem cell research are just plain selfish. I know that the moment you are hit with a deadly disease, you'd be all for it. My brother suffers from an illness, I know how it feels to be around someone who is sick all the time. I support stem cell research.
God! Why is the killing of embryos justified for research? What about Altered Nuclear Transfer??? No embryos die, Pluripotent cells "embryonic stem cells" are produced and the believed most precious research can be studied... This debate has nothing to do with saving people with parkinsons, alzheimers,or diabetes, its about destroying human beings and using them for research.
Yesterday I sat down in five hotels writing about GOD,LOVE & WORLD PEACE in 11 languages & handing my works over to 10 glorious individuals representing 7 nations.
4 of them were in the investment sector & adore my partners Albert Arnold Gore Jr (Al Gore) & Sir Richard Branson. Google those names with World Peace.
I shall continue for PEACE is what most of the world desires.
I enjoy Manhattan for its diversity & being wired to the internet & google.
