maybe it's just me put pulling such a sharp blade towards yourself just seems extremely unsafe...

I see and understand what it is you are promoting here, but I just can't get myself over the fact that it is DANGEROUS to work like this.
I understand that by pulling you have more controle (I work with fimo everyday), but pulling a blade toward you is NEVER a good way to work!
And I had a list with more points, but you know.. this one is good enough.
Way to expensive too.... 95 dollars.. can't see you making a living out of selling these.

@PeninaFaith ok those posts aren't tall enough to stop anything...i have worked in workshops for years and would never allow that tool the way it is in this demo to be used in the shop...that is an accident waiting to happen.

Wow
That's why you use scrap clay. There is always plenty of that around. Don't use new unmixed clay. You are correct it would be a waste. You can also re-use the same clay for the base and bumpers over and over again.
Thanks for your comment

@funnystrawberry100
Hi Funny Strawberry,
The veneers are applied to objects such as boxes, jars, vases and then baked. I have one client that makes designer purses and needs large cane slices so there is not as much seam work to do using tiny cane slices. It’s a big time saver. The product is really geared towards Polymer Clay artists who are making a living with their craft.
Hope that answers your question.

Hi livefastanddieyoung
There are two stainless posts that are blade guards just in case you slip with the tissue blade. The two guards stop the blade before it has a chance to get past the ACS. That doesn't mean you don't need to be careful whenever you use a tissue blade. They are very sharp and can cause a bad cut when improperly used. I hope that helps
