Saturday night, the quarterback Andrew Luck decided to join the hit parade at the expense of end zone-bound USC cornerback Shareece Wright at the end of the first half.

USC recovered Wright's fumble, but wasn't able to turn it into points before the break, a key point in the Cardinal's eventual 37-35 win on a last-second field goal: With Luck and Trojan QB Matt Barkley taking turns carving up the defenses for 675 yards and six touchdowns between them, the game was destined to go to the offense that touched the ball last.

Good hit. You don't see too many QB's that will step up and drop the hammer. Many of them head to the sidelines and pout while the play is still going on, or make a half-assed attempt to tackle.
