@TrumpetSAE yes i wish they did have the complete recordings it isnt complete when they edited out concert of Aretha Franklin Amazing Grace Thursday and Friday nights January 13th and 14th 19 72 i was barely walking then not even 2 yet when that album was release Live! i do have the complete recordings of aretha franklin amazing grace Live in 1972 i love this version better then i do the edited out version on the Album ! on how amazing this song is!

I total agree that Aretha hasn´t been taking care of neither her body and voice, it´s sad to see her today. But back then when voice were i it´s best shape man she blew everyone away and really kicked ass big time!

I love both Aretha and Patti as they are both incredible talents in there own right. Aretha has a spiritual essence however that so moving and powerful that in her day she could blow the roof of a building not just vocaly but spiritualy as well. This is a trully blessed and gifted woman. Just listening to this song I know I've got to "walk on". She can make you not just hear the song by if you didnt feel something I'd question not just spirituality but your sanity as well.
