G'day. This is a gorgeous antipodean ditty I picked up when on walkabout in Australia. It's a Tim Finn and Richard Thompson composition with a wonderful melody and clever words. To me this song is about mistakes in love and potential redemption which may or may not have a price.Us fellas can easily be persuaded given the right encouragement but they say you should never go back. Brains can give in to needs and hang any consequences. Carpe diem and all that!
Hey, Nav. Great job. I must go through your drawers to see what else you have lurking there. Lovely song but not all that easy to sing I would think. Spot on, mate. Thumbs and regards.

@raffaport Hi Graham. Spent some time in Oz in the mid 90s and came across this song written by Finn the elder (Tim). Didn't realise the Richard and Teddy had had a bash at it until much later.
We're all open to a bit of 'Persuasion' aren't we? Right now I fancy a chocolate biscuit. Should I have it? It's taunting me with its delicious curves..... oh, I give in!!
