4 from 1.3: Part 1

This documentary follows the lives of four Chinese college students during their transition from living at home to moving to Shanghai to become freshmen at one of China's most prestigious universities, Fudan University. This documentary is designed for the viewer to share in the experience of personal change in the lives of each of these four exceptional young people, living in a country where 1.3 billion people wake up each morning (hence the name - 4 students from 1.3 billion Chinese).

This documentary is separated into four online parts with seven sections. Each section introduces a different aspect relevant to the students' lives and their transition from life at home to life at college in China's largest and fastest growing metropolis.
