Bug Labs generated some of the biggest buzz at the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show with their infinitely hackable and customizable gadget. Modules like a camera, GPS unit, motion sensor, and LCD screen can snap on to a tiny Linux computer, and the whole project is open source. IEEE Spectrum talked to Mehrshad Mansouri from Bug Labs about this new direction in consumer electronics.
