@karencarpenterfan I don't respect this woman who vetoed the Gay Marriage Bill that was passed ;by the House of Rep and Senate in Hawaii and yet married and divorced twice thought she knew more about the sanctity of marriage than the will of the people of Hawaii. i don't respect this Palin supporter at all. I am from New York and a Democrat. I am proud that I have a Governor that signed Gay marriage into law.

Hawaii was really messed up before Lingle. The legislature gives her and Aiona a hard time. Hawaii is one of those screwed up states like Massachusetts with one-party dominance. Lingle enjoys approval ratings in the 70s.

On top of that,she along with other "fat cat's" ,legislators and judges had healthy payraises,with the legislators,(76) in all,taking home a 36% pay increase...Judges in hawaii are receiving $30,000 more today than they made 3 yrs. ago..!!!! Now you tell me,does that sound like someone who cares about the State and people which she was elected in office for.? Wouldn't it have been better to deny such pay rasises at this crucial time...Trust us,she's only looking out for herself..!!!

All I'm going to say is that I'm one of 50,000 State workers who does not approve of the way she's handling things....Each worker has a family who is,OR is going to be affected in one way or another soon dew to layoffs or furloughs....We as workers understand the severity of the economy,and we also know that we need to sacrifice...All we ask is that she sit and negotiate with us,yet till this very day,she has yet to do so..She never sat down ONCE with union officials to iron things out....

I am from Hawaii. I am a democrat.
Having said that, Linda Lingle has done nothing but good things for our state. I respect her greatly, regardless of the party difference. She is kind, humble, and is a great person.
She has helped the homeless population of Hawaii move into transition homes so they can start anew.
The republican I respect most is Linda Lingle.

Because we dont vote for someone just because of their physical appearance. Governor Lingle has done a great job and I don't think you should be judging people like that. Nobody has a right to say anything like that about ANYONE.
