Otis MRL's (Gen2's) use belt technology instead of cables. In the video you can see the counterweight cables and the counterweight, so i'd say the machine room is at the top of the shaft.

that elevator is not machine roomlesss. If ti was Machine Roomless it would say Gen2 instead of 2000

it is machineroomless. the motor is hanging all the way up in the shaft. the shaft is made out of glass, so you can see it.maybe i will take a picture of it.
