6000 dollars for this type of car is not much, you have to make certain that the chassis and the bosywork is ok. otherwise you have a hell of a job to do, because of the sice of the car.

US cars are way overpriced also in Sweden, would like to have one but it's not worth paying so much for them.

you need to take into consideration where this car is located (Europe I assume) --greatly heightens the value

All of these late-50s to late 70s luxury cars (Fleetwood, Imperial LeBaron and Lincoln Town Car, Mark III, Cad Eldorado) will greatly increase in value in the next two decades - mostly as museum pieces, unless you can afford the gas and actually drive them once in a while for fun. And they are fun to drive!. People in their late 40s and older who grew up with these kinds of cars will be the main buyers in years to come, I suspect.

If the body and frame are rust free $6k might not be bad at all.
