Ben's Motorcycle Accident

Here is the aftermath of my motorcycle accident which occurred in December of 2008. It resulted in 9 hours in the ER and a broken right scapula and a bit of road rash. I was wearing full gear so I consider myself pretty lucky.

you are a legend man. ive had like 10 crashes in like the year ive been riding and they have varied from 15-50mph and i havnt been wearing anything but my leather jacket and helmet and on one occasion i wasnt even wearing my jacket and ive never broken a bone from a bike crash just walked off a bit scraped up and with a limp or summat. how long have you been riding?

@cjmackie100 Thanks CJmackie, I appreciate the compliment. I actually fix bicycles for a living right now, but I am shooting to join the fire department and also become a part time hypnotist.

Lol, what do these crashes tell you about motorcycles Ben? My brother died in a motorcycle doing almost the exact same thing as you but we was going 15mph and a hummer went over his helmet in crushed his skull I advise you to sell the motorcycle and get a real car...

@VulgarityDivine Nah, I love riding too much. In life sometimes you need to take risks to have fun. If I was worrying about dying I would never ride in a car (cars are still dangerous! I had a friend who died in a car accident), I wouldn't take any marital arts, I would never leave the house. For me a certain amount of risk is what makes life interesting.

Dang, same story here, haha. I was ATVing and went off a jump, but broke my left scapula. And I've been training for my wrestling career :P

I was riding my Kymco People 150 and a women ran a stop sign and hit me. I broke my scapula, 6 ribs, and clavicle. Had a punchurd lung which resolved itself. I was a lucky girl. Am afraid to continue riding for this has been a rough road for me. (healing process). Thanks for sharing and be safe!

i was riding my xr250(dirt bike) with a couple friends and we pulled in my drive way and we just got fresh gravel, and it was super loose. when we pulled in i was in 4th gear topped out, cuz we were racing to get back first, and i went down on the gravel, broke both palms, fractured knee and my bike was fine. gotta love it.

In California it is legal to go in between the cars? Meaning it's illegal in other states? Man, in my country you'd be too polite to not go in between the cars.
