This is my entry for the next round of So You Think You Can Vid.

JUDGES NOTES:

I decided to make my entry a trailer because I wanted to focus on telling a story -rather than song lyrics/beats. Plus, I love making mock movie trailers.

This is basically the Castle/Beckett relationship from the ABC tv show Castle, with a few tweaks to make it feel "movie" consistent. I centered the story around the unsolved murder of Kate Beckett's mother.

The emotions are as follows:

Hate: Kate's hate for her mother's murderer(s). There's a danger that hate could/can turn her violent. It also pushes her to look for personal vengeance.

Fear: The fear of loosing yourself or the fear of loosing someone you love. Kate's afraid of loosing herself in her mother's case and Castle is afraid he will loose her, and it will be his fault. Fear sometimes causes us to lash out at the people nearest us.

Hope: There's hope that Castle/Beckett will eventually overcome the odds and catch the killer whilst finding a solid relationship themselves. Castle also hopes there's a different life out there for him to find. One that's not boring and predictable.
