No matter how many times I listen to li'l river band's greatest hits it's like I'm hearing it again for the first time.
A truly remarkable achievement by a superb band playing perfect music.

I always liked this and would crank the speakers when I'd play it on the radio. I didn't get until much later that it's likely Johnny Farnham that made it pop

@Giokebox The Beatles did it as well, since Ringo sang lead vocals on "Yellow Submarine"

@ignacio313 Dude, EPIC! xD

LRB was my first concert - second-billed to Foreigner and right before Cheap Trick. 1977. NOTE TO YT - VIDEOS PRECEDED BY ADVERTS WILL NOT BE WATCHED.

This band is a breath of fresh air everytime I listen I think how much people have missed by not appreciating their music in the 70 and 80's. Perhaps with a little help from google youtube others will listen to some of the most thought provoding and intelligent music ever made. You can forget Mick Jaggar. This band is hand down in my books the most entertaining and classy band of its time. They are timeless.

John Farnham sang lead on this song, correct?

@cparkes92 Right, in 1982 Glenn Shorrock was not on the band. The Other Guy was the first single with John Farnham on vocals.

@Giokebox This single made LRB one of very few musical acts to hit the top 10 (on some minor charts, #11 on Billboard) in America with four different lead singers (Shorrock, Birtles, Nelson, Farnham).

@cparkes92 I guess LRB is the only act to achieve such thing. In the most of times, when a lead singers leaves a group they fail to chart sooner or later. See Van Halen. Thx for the info. Greetings from Brazil.
