Athanasie Musabyimana fled from the genocide in Rwanda in the early 1990's. She has overcome tremendous obstacles to provide a better life for her children. Today she is earning steady income from her coffee crops thanks to support from TechnoServe. As part of the Coffee Initiative, funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, TechnoServe is working with 200,000 coffee farmers in East Africa to grow and sell better-quality coffee.

  • Don't drink cheap coffee. I hope they keep producing better and better coffee!

  • This makes me so happy to know that a cup of ethically grown and responsibly traded coffee is helping make our coffee farmers lives better.

  • Awesome
