@TheDiddlysquat Executing after 48hrs is a good idea from your point of view but it would have "really" sucked for all the convicted persons who've had convictions quashed on appeal etc, the amount of wrongly executed people would also shoot up,dont take my word for it take a look at the statistics of people freed from death row or long term sentences..out of principal I do not agree with the death penalty & modern enlightened country's should not support it,

but it must mess with your head for over 20 years knowing that any day they could come to your cell with an execution date its cruel & inhumane. then at the last minute commute to life without the chance of ever getting out,, the commuting is very rare but give false hope to all the others in the same situation, its mind games to keep control.

Ok, So wait;
The black man who has no evidence against him, in other words, innocent of a murder case is killed.
But the white convicted and proven murderer is spared.
