Forgot I recorded this.

It's a bit blurry, so here:
"It's Bungie Day!

Thanks for showing up to help us celebrate our special day. Activate your Blue Flames armor effect at Bungie.net, and then jump into the Bungie Day playlist for a chance to face off against a four-player team of Bungie employees and win some fabulous prizes.

For more information, and more ways to celebrate our 20th Anniversary, visit Bungie.net.

Hit X to check out our 20th Anniversary Charity T-Shirt in the Xbox LIVE Marketplace."

This is the message that was displayed when you signed on Halo Reach upon July 7th, 2011. Bungie took on the world that day, and offered anyone a steak who managed to beat them by 20 points or more in a single game within the Bungie Day Playlist. I didn't get a chance to match up with them, and even if I did, I probably would of lost anyways. Still, it was a great thing to do for the community on the final day Bungie had with Halo.

Here's hoping to a future with even more awesome games.
And here's hoping that 343i's title update will be well received.

  • I fucking missed it :(

  • @Supermario0727 Dang, but hey, not everyone could attend. I remember I missed that Bungie Day Cold Storage was released on Halo 3. Although the map was for free, they had a bunch of 1 day only free gamer pictures and themes. Missing any Bungie Day sucks. D: I'm sure that Bungie Days will continue to exist throughout the online community of their next big game though. Whatever that may be...

lol, heres the news, This was Bungies last day. No more bungie days........

    Although maybe 343 days. xD

  • @Supermario0727 Bungie's passion for the number 7 is so great that I highly doubt they would stop their own tradition. I'm saying that they will likely continue it with whatever their next big game is. It is possible that 343 may add in their own definitive day in matchmaking. My guess? On the day Reach turns 1 year old after release.

  • @Ultimabrawler that would have been great to fight Bungie online. Its too bad that they are done with the Halo series:(.This new company better make the new easter eggs as good as Bungie did.

  • @darreseigor I hope that they bring back the skull finding. Reach was completely void of skulls to look for within campaign. Maybe a few roster teeth references would be cool too. :D
