  • Hey, I just tested this phenomenon. And it works! I connected a high-vacuum bulb to a small "violet wand" handheld tesla coil. The filament of course doesn't light up, but the glass glows green in the darkness. And when held near a suspended piece of aluminum foil, the foil is attracted to the bulb.

And yes, the bulb does fire off a geiger counter. But it doesn't make a fluroscope screen glow, so the x-ray output is pretty weak.

  • Thanks for posting.

Could you also try a piece of copper and a piece of soft iron ?

  • digg this video.

Swich the search box to all digg and the search for tesla.

    The title is:

Video shows the effect of Tesla's impulse current

  • holly shit the vacuum is pushing matter, into spheres perhaps .?

  • The lack of views disturbs me.

  • So this really works?

Does that mean that a Gravity Gun is possible?

  • Please add ERIC DOLLARD to your tags.....EVERYTHING from this guy is ridiculously important, and more people need to find out who he is and look into what he did for advancing the understanding Teslian technology, and proving it is just what Tesla told the world it was

  • 1:34 "A charge and a pressure.." BZZZZT! Hehe :D

Very interesting. The whole video is available on googlevid i think. Hopefully someone will recreate these types of experiments in the future with a easier/more visible setup, and a better recording system :-)

  • Very interesting experiment. How do you generate 'longitudinal current?'

  • > the video tape itself displays a scattering

A hard-vacuum bulb should be a prodigious source of x-rays, and might be depositing electrostatic charge into the surrounding air. Nikola Tesla discovered the single-electrode x-ray tube. Or maybe the camera is just responding the Tesla coil power supply?
