Anyway ya I wouldn't even say Randy is the most skilled. again I say hes amazing, I just don't believe there is a best guitarist or most skilled. theres just guitar and some people are guitar heros and ya they are kinda equal cuz they are better at certain things. I kinda chuckled at the Kerry think. Kerry is beast but ya hes not at par with people like Petrucci. I am totally apeshit for Slayer tho.

@DETHFAN18ALL2 Well, there is no such thing as a "best guitarist", it depends on how you look at it. Overall skill is Randy Rhoads, most inspirational would be Jimi Hendrix, most complex work is Jimmy Page, best picking style is Paul Gilbert, a "lovable" guitarist that puts a smile on everybody would be "Dimebag" Darrell, ect. All of them guitarist that you named were great (except for Kerry King, Kerry sucks! I'm a Slayer fan, but not an idiot).

@THEFLYINGREDNECK I also play guitar and can tell you that many guitarists are as talented as him, but they have different styles. John Petrucci, Dave Mustaine, Marco Sfogli, Jeff Waters, Gary Moore, Dave Murray, Jimmy Page, Paul Frehley, Al Pitrelli, Dave Linsk, Mask Morton, Steve Ramsey, Kerry King, and Vivian Campbell are all awesome guitarists that I say are equal to if not better than Randy Rhoads. Don't get me wrong Randy is awesome, but not the stand alone best. He might be your favorite.

@DETHFAN18ALL2 Dude, I do play guitar. I've been playing for years. And yes, Randy Rhoads is the most overall skilled. He wasn't just a shredder. Check out some of his outakes backstage and at home. He could do almost anything on a guitar.
