In this video Andy Frye provides instructions regarding how to navigate the Pronto Tax Class website and tax preparation course instructions. If you want to become a tax preparer, you need to complete 60 hours of qualifying tax education before you can register as a tax preparer with CTEC (the California Tax Education Council.) The tax school at Pronto Tax Class will prepare you for this certification.

SCRIPT:
This video is a short tutorial of how to use the Pronto Tax Class Online System. First, login to your student account. The main core is your table of contents. Table of Contents is you guide and course material. Once you select a chapter you will be able to download the chapter and be able to view a short instructional video. You will want to scroll down and see where you are on your quizzes. Remember, you need to pass the quizzes with a least a 70% in order to continue to your next quiz.
When taking the quiz you will be able to skip questions that will come up at the end of that same quiz. If you click save it will automatically submit the answer and you will not be able to view it at the end of the quiz. For some of the longer quizzes you can Save & Exit and later continue where you left off.
Once you complete the quiz with a 70% of higher you will receive a notice saying you passed that quiz and you will get a green check mark under that quiz chapter. There are 50 chapter, but don't be intimidated, the chapters are relatively short.
