lol, if you look to the right, its says their korean. and no, there not trying to be american. there considered a "vk" band and Vk is japanese(at least that's what i've heard) but americans aren't automatically the best. no we are not. and we take so much stuff from other countries so whose saying were the pioneers?

For some reason Kim reminds me of Hyde from Laruku and I know Hyde isn't of the vk genre just Kim kinda sounds and looks a bit like him. To me at least.

'Visual/glam rock' is the universal term for bands who have distinguished appearance. The term 'visual kei' is solely japanese derived, but visual rock can be applied to any band.
