  • Yup I know ,but its black crap ,the air up in fort mac is horrible, all you can smell is the pollution up there, have a headache from the time I get there til the time I leave.I dont worry about resperators,

  • Fort Mac is a busy overcrowded little city, traffic can be crazy especially at shift change at the tar sands. You can smell and see the haze from pollution, not sure I would want to live there but great to see first hand

  • Attention!!!!!! Its is called the OIL SANDS. You do not get TAR from it. You get bitumen from it. Tar is a byproduct of oil refining not mining. By the way TXsharon, a respirator will do nothing for you in the presence of H2S.

  • Oh my gosh! They are ruining that beautiful country! Do you wear a respirator when you go up there? That air can be so dangerous, especially if they have sour gas.

  • I was in a trafic jam, from Suncor turn off right into fort mac!! two lanes and shoulders pluged with cars and trucks. you are right about that haze.

  • go girl!!

  • wow,big equip. there,cool
