I remember in '78 i was riding a bike on High Street and a car bumped into me and knocked me off of my bike right in front of an A&W...a man came running out to see if I was OK with the burger still crammed in his mouth!!! Ahhhhhh...good times!!!! lol!!!

Until the early 1970s, going to the A&W restaurant was the only way you could get the root beer of the same name.

Thank God for Long John Silver's bringing back A&W to our area. The fries taste like Alaskan Pollock, but who cares?
