There is a near identical commercial that's in English, but this one in Japanese, the car sounds extremely higher pitched. :( More 'Ferarri' souding.

Yamaha owns mass production of home theatre, hence the sound of this car. Sit on my face yamaha and thanks for dynamicly tuning the exhuast note.
Is this done by other companies(the exhaust note)?

if i had the money i would take this car over any lambo or ferrari out there. it mixes power, looks and technology like no other supercar in the world. the r8 looks good but it looks like a girls car so the lfa is the sexiest out there

you dont have to be bitter just because you cant afford one.
you cant really speculate on what anyone else would buy, because they have different ideals to you. for many people this is not an expensive purchase, and would buy it in a heartbeat.
they could have charged twice that amount, and probably still have a huge backorder.
i don't believe lexus intended to turn a profit off this car, hence they are selling each car at a loss. it is more to show the world what they are capable of.
