@prometheus403 Madlib-- Pikes Strike = 'Ashby Road", right? I've had this for a minute. Sick song. Love the hell out of it. This is the order I feel the song was sample best:
Madlib - Ashby Road
Pete Rock - Fakin Jax (The street version)
Que D (J.Dilla) - Roc Box
Pete Rock - Fakin Jax (Youth remix)
9th Wonder - Why don't we fall in love.
All are hype, though! Thanks for the notations of the songs!

@khaliamoon Sorry for the late reply. But as far as I know Ashby Road was mistakenly labeled as Pikes Strike in some records. That's where the confusion came about. I might be wrong.

@prometheus403 It's all good. I have seen songs get labelled differently. Fab5Freddy's "Change The Beat" was originally named "Une Sale Histoire" ("A Dirty Story") when it was first released. People here in teh USA (except for those of us who were overseas at the time of the release) knew it as "Une Sale Histoire" (Pronounced "OON Sal Hiswah"). Although he says, "Change The Beat" in the, he (and Beeside) are actually talking about some "oochie Coochie". lol

Madlib freaked this sample too, "Ashby Road". Madlib killed it too. Hard to pick one over the other, so I wont.

@neffone77 I hsve Ashby Road. True, very hard to tell which is better. madlib's version has more of a street sound but it is smooth with it. Like a jazzy sound. Not many people talk about Madlib's version. (Only true music lovers like you mention it!). You're the ONLY one I heard mention that song! I like "Slim's Return".
But yes, Ashby Road is insane!
