  • Build a rock levee around her and pump the water out. A crane barge and a couple of loads of rock , shouldnt be too expensive. Any rich Aussies? Maybe Richard Branson, he's a Billionaire , he wouldnt even miss a couple million.

  • Building a coffer dam is very expensive. Just pumping the water out costs $5,000 a day. Before doing this the ship would need to be supported or else the lack of support from the water would be disasterous. The current plan to raise Cerberus on a submerged platform costs $7million. We plan to spend $400,000 bracing the turrets this year.

  • looks great where exactly is that britan

  • The four guns are on the seafloor about 20 metres on the seaward side of Cerberus at Half Moon Bay (near Melbourne), Victoria, Australia

  • We totally agree.

Nordenfeldt guns. Very rare like the ship itself.

    This masterpiece must be restored.

    Must.

  • The gun looks in pretty good shape for being exposed to the elements for 83 years.

  • They need to restore the Cerberus, last of her kind.
