@ilove60s1 Obviously, you have LITTLE understanding of communism, or any other political ideology come to that. I'll tell you what, go read a few history books, and learn from them. Learn what communism did for the people of Eastern Europe, Russia, China etc. Yes, china may have a booming economy, for now. But the chinese people live just above the poverty line, with no real prospects, and many restrictions on their day to day lives and freedoms.

@nomoreliblabcon Con't - Look at the rest of the world, most newly-fledged democracies end up turning into dictatorships or countries fractured into warring factions. China is the same and we went through all that during our civil war. CNN tends to neglect to tell people that there WAS a democracy in China once, but it fell apart for the reasons I stated. And its not even the Communist's fault, those guys hiding in Taiwan STARTED the arrests and political executions, not PRC

@nomoreliblabcon OMG, do you seriously believe that China is still a communist country? The correct classification for China is an autocratic-capitalist state, and its the new government system for surviving in this era. Democracy is obsolete in this day and age, it doesn't work unless you're a wealthy developed country to begin with like the US. China has 1.6 billion people competing for limited space and resources. There will be chaos if you try to govern through votes.

@nomoreliblabcon I just finished Das Kapital and it left me thinking that there has never been a true communist government for the simple reason that they never abolished the use of money. I think they were all just selfish regimes aimed at the accquisition of power for a few disguised as "communism", and exploited by capitalists as a threat against the citizens of capitalist nations to help keep them in line. Making them all Oligarchies, sadly.
