Grief Syndrome Online (720P) +How to play online

HOW TO PLAY ONLINE:

1. Make sure you have the 1.1 patch.

Download this:

3. Unzip to GS folder. PUT THE SAVE0.DAT FILE IN THE SAVE FOLDER. (If you want an higher lap, Make sure everyone has the same save file. though it might cause problems)

4. Run GSonline.exe (As Administrator).
As Host - Enter a port and click host.
As client- Enter IP and port, Click connect.
Make sure your ports are forwarded.
Using hamachi is suggested, But it works fine without.

5. If it doesn't work, Set both GSOnline.exe and Netsyndrome.exe(the normal .Exe if you're using the new version. ) to Win2000 Compatibility.

6. How Laggy would it be?
This was filmed with 3 players (Host + 2 clients). Both clients with 30-60Ms.
Game ran at about 95% speed (56-57FPs rather than 60)
More than 100ms would be too annoying to play. A test I had gave me 15FPs with one client with 280ms.

hello, i have this problem. when my friend or i host, we can load the game. but it just hang at black screen.. after awhile a pop out which is in jap comes out and i dont understand it.. but it appears to be a yes or no question.. if my friend and i click the left button it continues to load hang for a while before appearing again.. we have the same gso and syndrome version.. any solution to this?

@pigcanfly92123 Make sure you are using the same save file, running as admin, Setting windows 2000 compatibly.

Hello, I have this problem: I connect with a friend via hamachi, everything seems to be OK, he's the host, but when he opens the game, it freezes and error says there isn't a response from the host ... when I tried to be the host, he couldn't connect either. What problem do we have?

@thekoquin Probably different versions or save files. I'm pretty sure there's a newer version than what i posted here. Make sure you have the same one.

also synchronize the save file, it sometimes causes problems.

hm well i cant seem to get it to work.. my friend and i tried hosting. both of us. we solved a lot of problems we faced when doing so but hit a dead end when we both had the game popping out but hang for awhile before a popout comes out. well, we dont know what it means beside the option of yes and no. if yes is click on both of us it continues loading and repeat the same pattern. if no is clicked the game is closed.. with an error i think..
