I got this addon, but it have no sound...Anyone can help me?

You need the sounds from the GPC 1979 F1 Mod.

Install this mod and you have sound.

R Factor is a race sim with several types of cars for the pc (can´t tell if it has got other platform aplications. And on the net there are several "mods"-files transformed to make several types of several cars look diifferent. This one transformed the physics of the game into the f1 physics from 1979 season I believe:)

But without the hands it really is a pain:/

@chegu071 Several might easily mean thousands several= many of them :) Relating the hand turning thing. Maybe it is because of that many mods available (where the hands turn) that I never got into it. For me all off them should have that feacture. Can´t be bothered to search alot for the one´s I like. Still apreciatte the modders for the mods they do, though not playing them.

@Tuscopa its not several, there are thousands of different mods, most of which allow you to turn the hands on.

There are really good mods out there for them, but they rae more arcadish I guess. the R Factor must be a great sim for what I "fell" on the videos I see:). When the new machine arrives, I´ll give it a go:)

Thanks for the nsights:). I also don´t own any gaming console (I have the play 1 here somewhere but I believe it is broken. gran Turismo form ps1 I still play tothis day on the emulator. It is a great game,but really old. Relating mods, I´m into F1 challenge and have to try gp4.

That's a shame, it really is a great sim. However for people who don't have a flash hot PC, there is the Forza Motorsport series on Xbox and Gran Turismo on Playstation. They are both enjoyable games.

Pitty, R factor really kicks major ass in most mods. Specially F1 which I love. The only mods I don´t like, are the one´s with no arms attached to the wheels. But it´s all down to opinions.

But because of my aged pc, I´m not rellay into the R factor modding scene. Thanks for the insight.

Yep, that is the idea. But I do believe developers need to use the original files to create new one´s for the stand alone compilation. I´m not into progamming a lot, but I believe it works, and is easier to do so this way. Relating the mods, indeed I don´t know how many are out there, I trust you they must be imense. Unfortunatly, my pc is still pretty much unable to run R factor (low ram)-no money for now to an upgrade.

Somewhat correct. There are more than 'several' mods. In fact there are thousands. rFactorCentral or SimRaceway are the best websites to find and download mods. Secondly, most mods to not replace or alter any of the existing models in rFactor, they create a new standalone series. :-)
