A professional driver explains where you should place objects like your purse within your vehicle for optimum safety. These tips are from Ford Motor Company's Driving Skills for Life program, which is designed to help young drivers improve their skills in four key areas that are critical factors in more than 60% of teen vehicle crashes, hazard recognition, vehicle handling, space management and speed management.

  • 0:25 it's a very BAD idea to put any water bottles on a passanger side floor because it can roll to a driver side floor if it's an suv or van... it happened to me once after that i never put ANYTHING on or under front passanger/driver seat...

  • i keep my gym bag in my back seat... its hit me a few times lol

  • If i remember rightly, a tissue box at 30 MPH has the same weight as a household brick... ouch

  • I hate airbags.

  • Just wanted to ask why you haven't covered the airbag issue. Please add that to this video as I know several people who have objects lying around on the passenger side of the dash which in the event of a collision can become dangerous projectiles due to the airbag deployment (or should I say...explosion)
